I need a hotel for my 2/11 cruise out of Luaderdale and need a hotel for the two nights prior. Hotel prices are really high for that time so I'm trying Priceline. I know there are some sketchy areas in Lauderdale so I was wondering if someone could check this map and tell me if there are any bad areas in the #2 section (which they call downtown Fort Lauderdale). Also, if you have any experience with Priceline and have a bid recommendation please let me know!We'll be there for one full day before the cruise so we'd like it if it was an area we could walk around and maybe walk down to the ocean. Comments about Matisse Vogue Pebble Leather Boot:First off let me say that this boot does not have a 13" calf circumference. It is more like 15.5", which is way too large for my skinny little legs. I ordered the boots in both black and brown. But, these boots are so gorgeous that I am keeping them both and taking them to a cobbler to get taken in. I am no expert but due to the pull-on style, it looks like it will be a fairly easy job. The leather on these boots is really nice. It's a really soft pebbled leather. There is no looking twice to figure out if they are real leather or not. I love that they can be casual or dressy. Wrong info for calf size, great boot either way.Was this review helpful to you? Comments about Matisse Vogue Pebble Leather Boot:I bought these when there was a 15% off boot sale and found a coupon for another 10% off [...]. Very comfortable and good textured leather. Perfect 2 in heel and inside is lined with silver leather. I have thin legs and the width is fine at the top and slouchy at the ankle. These boots were selling for $225 at Zappos.
